Our Story
Organic Slabs of Georgia was born out of a passion for sustainability and a deep respect for nature. Our journey began with a vision: to create stunning and sustainable furniture that brings the beauty of the outdoors into homes and businesses.
At Organic Slabs, we specialize in live edge organic slabs. Ideal for crafting conference tables, dining tables, benches, countertops, bars, kitchen islands and even Charcuterie boards. Whatever your imagination can create we have a slab for you.
Our commitment to sustainability sets us apart. We source exotic hardwoods from Central America, including the rich tones of Black Walnut, the unique patterns of Monkey Pod, the striking hues of Parota, Yellow Heart, Purple Heart, and the resilient elegance of Teak. What truly defines our sourcing process is our ethical approach. We focus on trees nearing the end of their life cycle, those that might otherwise succumb to the forest floor. By carefully harvesting these trees, we ensure that their legacy continues. Each slab is transformed into a timeless piece of furniture, embodying the beauty and the character of the wood, while honoring the life once lived. This process preserves our forest, while also carrying the essence of nature into our homes.
